Shaikh Ali Hudhaify delivered the Arafaj khutbah for hajjj2026
Shaikh opened the khutbah by reminding the hujaaj about the day of Qiyamah and preparing for the meeting with Allah.
Below are the points of the Khutbah:
- Fear Allah and adopt taqwa in all aspects of life.
- Tawheed is the foundation of Islam
- Ibadah must be directed to Allah alone without partners
- Believers should remain firm upon the Qur’an and Sunnah
- The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger
- Hearts soften and faith increases through the recitation of Quraan (Allah’s words)
- Muslims were urged to fulfil promises and trusts, uphold honesty and truthfulness, maintain patience during hardship and show perseverance in trials
- Hajj is a reminder of unity of the Ummah, equality of humanity before Allah and the temporary nature of dunya
- Hujaj were encouraged to increase dua and istighfar, make sincere tawbah,preserve calmness and dignity during Hajj rituals
- Shaikh emphasised on the Mercy of Allah on the Day of Arafah, importance of righteous deeds,obedience to Allah bringing success in this life and the next
- Shaikh urged all Muslims to strengthen brotherhood,avoid division and conflict and hold firmly to Islamic morals and values with emphasis on patience, devotion, sincerity, and steadfastness as recurring themes throughout the khutbah.
