A Chinese entrepreneur earned a Guinness World Record after riding his modified motorcycle for more than 40 kilometres across water.
Zhang Xue, founder of motorcycle manufacturer ZXMOTO, used a modified MX450 motorcycle to travel 40.7 kilometres across the surface of the Chen River in Mayang, Hunan Province, on Sunday.
The feat earned him the Guinness World Record for the longest distance travelled on open water by a modified motorcycle.
The motorcycle was fitted with an amphibious ski, allowing it to travel on both land and water.
On the water, the vehicle moved forward as its rear tyre pushed water backwards.
