Government embarked on the second phase of the roll-out process on Monday, where over 60’s joined frontline workers in the queues. Health Minister Zweli Mkhize wants all healthcare workers to be vaccinated against Covid-19 by the end of the week. Speaking to journalists and stakeholders at the Royal Show Grounds vaccination site in Pietermaritzburg in KZN, he said it was important for health workers to be protected before infection numbers start rising as the third wave intensifies.
