Every child dreams of becoming someone successful. Some dream of acquiring degrees, some dream of obtaining diplomas, etc. However, for dreams to be realised these children need to attend tertiary institutes. To attend these institutes is a costly affair. Luckily for some, these costs are covered by their parents. But what about those children that don’t have these funds yet have the zest to want to pursue a career? Shukr! That’s where SANZAF comes in with the SANZAF Zakaah bursary fund.
The South African National Zakaah Fund (SANZAF) is an educational organisation whose aim it is to help needy families in the community. SANZAF are a faith-based organisation that collect and distribute Zakáh and Sadaqát to help the Muslim community.
The SANZAF Zakah Bursary is a grant and is aimed at students who find themselves in financial need, unable to pay for their tertiary studies.
SANZAF is committed to the upliftment and empowerment of the community. This objective is realised through several developmental programmes undertaken by us. However, the primary target group in this regard is those that society in general have forgotten or neglected and who are generally described a “poverty stricken” individuals / families, i.e. the unemployed, those with menial or low paying jobs and those with insufficient income.
SANZAF needs your zakaah contributions to help the deserving people in our community.
