You don’t have to exhaust your heart trying to control outcomes that were never yours to control. Sometimes, the pain comes from holding on too tightly to what we thought our life would look like or from the weight of our own expectations.
Some doors are difficult to close, not because they are good for us, but because we became attached to the version of happiness we imagined behind them. We hold on to illusions and temporary desires, while Allah is protecting us from realities we cannot yet see.
Allah sees beyond the surface. He knows what brings true peace to your heart and what only appears beautiful from a distance. What you lose is not always a loss, it is means of gaining closeness to Allah, it is a quiet mercy, a protection, a way of shaping you into a better versions of yourself.
So trust Him. Even when it’s hard. Even when it doesn’t make sense.
Because what Allah withholds, He replaces. And what He writes for you will never miss you.
