A concerned photojournalist Ali Greeff visited Cii Radio to bring to our attention that certain misprints have appeared in specific impressions of the Waterval Islamic Institute 13-line copy of the Qur’an.
The impressions identified are:
- First Impression – 1444 / 2022
- Fourth Impression – 1444 / 2022
- Fourteenth Impression – 1444 / 2022
If you are in possession of any of the above impressions, you are advised to open the relevant pages and make the necessary corrections where applicable.
Our aim, Insha Allah, is to compile a complete and verified list of all identified misprints into a single document which is easily available. This will allow the information to be shared accurately so that corrections can be made properly and consistently. We encourage masaajid to set aside fixed dates and times, to allow households to come to the masjid with their copy of the Quran and under the advice of an aalim, to correct the misprints, InshaAllah.
