Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian man in Jenin early Monday and carried out widespread raids and arrests throughout the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 33-year-old Yousef al-Amer was shot and killed by Israeli forces in the town of Qabatiya, in the Jenin Governorate. The Israeli army withheld his body following the killing.
The Palestine Red Crescent later reported the evacuation of an unidentified body from the area targeted in Qabatiya.
The Health Ministry also confirmed that another young man, Qusay Amin Suleiman Al-Saadi, 21, was wounded by Israeli gunfire in Qabatiya at dawn and was subsequently arrested. The body of al-Amer was later transferred to Jenin Governmental Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli special forces stormed Qabatiya, encircled a house, and shelled it with Energa missiles. A fire broke out inside the house, and a military bulldozer caused extensive damage to the site.
