Faith is not wishful thinking

It is what takes root in the heart and is reflected in one’s actions.

The more you attach yourself to the Deen, the more Allah-conscious you become. The khauf (fear) of Allah Ta’ala increases, and it begins to show in your appearance, your speech, and your actions.

If people criticize you for adorning the proper Muslim attire, for displaying more hayaa in your words and behavior, for choosing Deen over Dunya in every matter — it does not mean you’re being extreme.

It does not mean you think you’re holier than others. It does not define you negatively — it defines them. Their toxic thoughts reflect their lack of understanding of Islam.

It paints a picture of how this Dunya has swept many of our sisters off their feet with its temporary pleasures, which will NEVER be of any benefit in the Hereafter.

May Allah Ta’ala grant us all the ability to change our way of thinking and our way of living before it’s too late.
May Allah Ta’ala grant us all istiqamat.
