Don’t trust anyone too easily on social networking platforms.
People can easily deceive you by portraying a version of themselves that doesn’t truly exist.
I’ve come across many cases like this, which is why I feel it’s important to warn the youth to be cautious when using social media, InshaAllah.
You may fall in love with someone’s character through online interaction, but when you finally meet them and even decide to get married, you might soon realize that what felt like a fairy tale before marriage has now turned into a nightmare.
That same person who seemed caring, loving, and gentle may transform into someone toxic. A person who insults you, manipulates you, and strips away your dignity and self-respect.
This warning applies to both brothers and sisters.
Sometimes, a woman going through difficulties in her life or marriage might seek attention and comfort from other men online. You may be unaware of her true circumstances, believing her stories which may all be built on lies.
You are then used for your time, your energy, your wealth, and sometimes even for physical desires.
My humble advice to you, dear brothers and sisters, is: Don’t be so gullible. Don’t lower yourself to such a level.
Why fall into the disobedience of Allah Ta’ala for temporary pleasure?
Don’t let your nafs control you.
Whenever you feel tempted to do something wrong, ask yourself: “If I were to die right now, how would I face my Creator?”
The seconds, minutes, hours, of the life of this world is like a block of ice that is melting relentlessly.
Use your time wisely, my respected readers.
The first stop after this world is the qabr (grave).
If you pass through it with ease, everything that follows will, InshaAllah, be easier.
Allah Ta’ala knows best when the right time for marriage is for each of us.
Be patient. Focus on becoming the person that Allah Ta’ala and our beloved Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam would be pleased with, InshaAllah.
Your time for enjoyment in a halal, beautiful way with your spouse will come but don’t engage in anything impermissible before marriage.
There is divine wisdom in both the good and the tests that Allah Ta’ala places before us.
Please remember this sinful slave in your duas, InshaAllah.
