Any car enthusiast would know that a Mini Cooper isn’t the biggest car there is. So, one would imagine a maximum of five people fitting inside a car for a comfortable ride.
But can you imagine over 20 people fitting in such a small space? Well, a Guinness World Record was created when 29 people got inside a Mini Cooper. A video was posted by the official Guinness World Record account. It showed how people lined up to fit inside the car. It showed people twisting and turning to squeeze into the regular-sized car.
In this clip, people can be seen entering the car one after another, making space for the next person to fit in. The 3-minute video was captioned, “How many volunteers can squeeze into this regular-sized Mini Cooper?”
Even though the video was posted by the official Guinness page on September 6th, the record was created in 2014. At the time, the Mini Cooper crew used a variety of techniques to create the record. They adjusted the seats, reduced the leg space, stacked one person on top of the other and even tried to fit people in the rear compartment of the car.
