A fed-up wife has claimed her husband has blamed her for a written warning he recently received at work after he turned up three hours late, having slept through his alarm. In her husband’s eyes, she should have woken him up on time. However, she had given him a nudge before going back to bed herself.
The unnamed woman says their marriage of more than a decade “is in the toilet”, however, their financial situation means they can’t currently seperate. She’s always been an early bird, while he’s the sort who “will leave to the airport 20 minutes before his flight leaves.”
Over their years together, she’s gotten used to waking him up when he sleeps through his alarm, which he will frequently do. However, she has stopped doing this in the last few months, on account of their ongoing marital issues.
On her days off, she’s been trying to leave him be to wake himself up without her help, which has previously resulted in him turning up to work late by an hour or even two hours.
