At any given time, there are more than 200 patients in South Africa that need a bone marrow transplant, unfortunately many of them cannot afford it. It is for this reason International cricketer JP Duminy has joined hands with the South African Bone Marrow Registry to raise funds for the NGO’s Patient Assistance Programme, through the Give A Little Save A Life campaign. Due to the pandemic and lockdown restrictions, all of the SABMR’s physical fundraising events were cancelled for this year, with a further blow of regular donors not being able to contribute financially, due to the economic downturn
