We’re fortunate thus far that there have been no deaths in South Africa from COVID-19. However, the possibility that this scenario may change is very likely and as Muslims we will need to understand that the restrictions placed on the nation due to the lockdown and state of emergency will affect the burial process that we follow stringently.
