Our story begins in 2005 when we took over an existing store on Langalibalele Street in the heart of Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal’s bustling capital. With our potent combination of great tasting flame-grilled chicken and passionate service, Honchos quickly became a Pietermaritzburg favourite. Our customers grew with the brand and 3 years after our first store opened, we welcomed 3 more stores to the Honchos family in Pietermaritzburg. Word of our local, tasty flavour spread and soon, Honchos boasted an impressive footprint throughout KwaZulu-Natal.
Our story did not stop there…
Over the next 10 years, we saw the Honchos Franchise expand from KwaZulu-Natal to the Eastern Cape and Gauteng. Now, Honchos has more than 71 stores nationwide with plans to grow the brand across the nation. The strong following of Honchos patrons stems not only from our great flavour but from our huge meal portions and the fact that we pride ourselves on providing exceptional quality meals with incredible value.
