Aslmualaikum
Why hasrat abubakr is my hero..
With tears in my eyes and my mind going down memory lane I remember when my husband and I found out we were expecting not long after we got married, alhumdulila.
Both young, soon to be parents we constantly made dua to Allah to grant us a child with good akhlaaq and steadfast on deen.
As time drew near our due date the excitement escalated and so did our dua. We had to choose names for our bundle of joy. In our masjid one of the imams spoke on the life of hasrat Abubakr Siddiq…his upbringing…his love for Allah and His Rasul, his sacrifice for deen, his love for deen right till Allah called him back.
We fell in love with this Sahabi…Allah sent this story at the right time for us.
Alhumdulila on Friday, November 14th , at 36 weeks our son was born weighing only 1.8kg but strong like His name he lives up to it.
My wish and dua is that one day soon Allah will accept us for hajj and umrah so I can take him to show him the places we read about in fazail Amal…to show him the cave of hiram.. for him to understand that that being we chose to name him after ..shielded Allah’s nabi.
We have never been for umrah or haj but the yearning desire is alive and burning in our hearts.
We chose his name solely on listening to and reading about hasrat Abubakr Siddiq.
We continue making dua that Allah keeps our son just like hasrat Abubakr…his akhlaaq and love for Allah and His Rasul.
Love and duas
Umm Abubakr Adia
