The Siyer foundation was established in 2011.The main aim of the foundation is to contribute to the better understanding of the life of Nabi (saw). To learn about his personality, simple way of life, exemplary morals, his propriety and modesty so that we may be able to adopt the sunnah way of life.
The first competition of this nature was organized in 2014 to explain our Master Prophet (pbuh) to the people through the medium of cinema. Following the success of the previous years, another short film competition has been organized again this year, the 5th “Mercy to the Universe International Short Film Competition”.
These short films put forward the life and universal message of our Master Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and increase awareness about our master Nabi (saw) way of life.
Cii Radio is the official media partner of this competition amongst all the Southern African countries.
This is your chance to showcase your talent and at the same time educate the ummah of Nabi (saw) and encourage our fellow brothers and sisters to inculcate the sunnah way of life in our everyday habits.
There are three categories of the competition, each with its own prize allocation. (See below)
This year’s theme is ‘brotherhood’. Total prize money is R265 000 and the deadline for entries is 31 December 2018, so put those ideas to paper and get scripting!
