The Saudi Red Crescent teams said they treated nearly 5,000 Hajj pilgrims during the days of Tarawiyah and Arafat at several of their medical centers in Mecca, Mina and Medina.
Those treatments included 1,739 cases that were transferred to hospitals and medical centers nearby to receive the necessary medical care, and 3,228 cases were treated at their locations.
The medical and emergency teams in Mecca provided medical services to more than 4,316 cases distributed between Mecca, the Grand Mosque, Arafat and Muzdalifah.
Those included 2,846 cases who received medical care at their locations, while more than 1,470 were transferred to hospitals.
