Two Palestinian brothers from the al-Hajar al-Aswad refugee camp have been tortured to death in Syrian regime’s prisons, the Action Group for Palestinians of Syria disclosed.
A relative told the group that the Palestinian brothers, Ismail and Ziyad Adel Yusuf, were arrested in 2013 and 2014 respectively. The Syrian regime recently handed over their clothes and identity documents to their relatives.
The group cited unnamed sources as saying that the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees in the city of Daraa helps the families of Palestinian detainees enquire about the fate of their children.
According to the authority, as many as 34 Palestinians from the refugee camps in Homs, Hama and Damascus were tortured to death in the Syrian regime prisons.
Moreover, the group said as many as 311 Palestinian refugees have been missing since the conflict started in Syria.
