No stress!The Ministry of Education intends to open Kindergartens for kids accompanying parents during Hajj

The Ministry of Education has announced its intention to open seasonal kindergartens in Makkah and Madinah for the children accompanying their parents during the Haj, Makkah daily reported on Sunday quoting informed sources.

The ministry said the kindergartens will be safe and secure educational institutions which will educate the children, take good care of them, protect them against the risks of over crowdedness, including going astray, or contacting contagious diseases.

The ministry said it has completed the formulation of an integrated educational and health program to take care of the children between six months and six years of age.

It said women teachers would be responsible for the technical and administrative supervision of the kindergartens. The ministry also said, for their own safety, the children will be fingerprinted on entering and exiting the kindergartens.

Meanwhile the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs said it has completed the operation and maintenance of 58 tunnels for the cars and pedestrians in Makkah and the Holy Sites. It said the tunnels were supplied with fans, lighting lamps, escalators, fire-extinguishing systems and fixed and mobile cameras to monitor the movement of pilgrims.

The Haj security forces said as many as 120,000 pilgrims without Haj permits were returned back to where they came from at the various check points on all the roads leading to Makkah and the Holy Sites. They also said a total of 61,600 vehicles transporting illegal pilgrims were confiscated.

Commander of the security aviation, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Bin Eid Al-Harbe said 16 aircraft will be monitoring all the roads leading to Makkah and the Holy sites to report the infiltrators.

The branch Ministry of Haj and Umrah in Madinah said in a statistical report that some 667,667 pilgrims have visited Madinah to pay homage to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and pray in his mosque.

The ministry said of them, 474,894 left for Makkah while 192,217 are still in the Prophet›s City topped by the Indonesians, who are 23,865.

The Civil Defense has completed all its arrangements to protect the safety and security of the pilgrims and deal with any emergency situation during the Haj. The Civil Defense is deploying more than 17,000 of its personnel supplied with more than 3,000 equipment to carry out its Haj plan.

The Supreme Authority to Develop the Holy Sites has collected about 80 cubic meters of pebbles in the Jamarat area for the pilgrims to use in stoning the devil. The authority used six belts to pull out the pebbles from the basin of each devil replica and said the belts will continue to work 24 hours starting Dhul Hijja 10 when the stoning will start.

Meanwhile the Tuwafa Establishment for the Arab Pilgrims has completed the training of 300 Saudi women mutawifs within its efforts to provide outstanding services to the guests of God. The female mutawifs were rigorously trained on the best methods of performing the Haj, the health awareness and many other subjects which will help them extend help to the women pilgrims.
