The Energy Department on Saturday announced a drop in the petrol price.
The department says the price of petrol will decrease from Wednesday.
Motorists can expect to pay 69 cents less per litre for 93 octane, while 95 octane will decrease by 68 cents.
Both grades of diesel will go down by 60 cents a litre, while illuminating paraffin will decrease by between 57 and 76 cents a litre.
