A terrified Syrian child was caught on camera searching and crying out for her father as medical workers wiped blood away from her face and scalp, in Talbiseh, Syria.
Young Aya was reunited with her father after she was caught up in air and mortar strikes and taken to a field hospital, on Monday.
After telling the workers her name she continued to call out “Baba”, meaning father, multiple times.
The two were later reunited, according to activist-run Talbisah News.
The agency also reported there were four strikes in that area on Monday, killing two civilians and injuring many more, including babies.
Talbiseh has been hit hard in recent weeks after a seven-day ceasefire last month.
In September the town, with a population of around 84,000 people, received a delivery of much-needed aid for the first time since July.
