JEDDAH: There would be top quality services for pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah this Ramadan, according to Minister of Haj and Umrah Mohammad Salih Bentin.
The aim is to ensure pilgrims can carry out their rituals in safety and comfort, in line with the aims of Vision 2030, he was quoted as saying by a local publication on Wednesday.
He said a comprehensive plan has been put in place to deal with a large increase in pilgrims and will cover accommodation and transport while they are in the Kingdom. The plan has been approved by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, he said.
He thanked the king, crown prince and deputy crown prince for their support for the Haj and Umrah sector, and promised every effort would be made to ensure pilgrims leave the Kingdom satisfied.
