My Dearest Sister,
There will be moments in our lives when we feel completely overwhelmed—times when we are stretched thin, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. We may feel as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel, as if our problems are pulling us under and we’re drowning beneath the weight of it all.
Often, in these moments, we are left feeling isolated, believing that no one could possibly understand. But trust me, you are not alone.
Every woman carries her own unique set of challenges. As women, we are constantly juggling the demands of our homes, our faith, our careers, our families, and our communities—sometimes all while quietly nursing wounds we’ve never voiced.
In the swirl of daily noise, digital distraction, and never-ending responsibilities, our hearts yearn for stillness. Our minds crave clarity. And our souls search desperately for connection.
But the question we so often whisper to ourselves is:
Where do I even begin?
Each of us carries wounds we don’t often speak about. From burnout and confusion to betrayal and grief, our struggles go far deeper than most people can see. And sometimes, the very spaces that should nurture us—our cultural norms or misunderstood religious expectations—can make it even harder to open up, to ask for help, or to admit, “I’m not okay.”
We grow used to enduring silently, putting on a brave face, and showing up for everyone else—until we forget how to show up for ourselves. In trying to be strong, we neglect our own needs. We chase perfection, we try to keep everyone happy, and we strive to embody the image of the perfect woman all while feeling emptier inside. And even though we want to break out of that cycle, we’re not always sure where—or how—to begin.
And so, my sister, if you’ve ever asked yourself,
“Where do I even begin?”
Know this: the journey back to yourself—and to Allah—starts right there, in the asking.
This July, Ustadha Yasmin Mogahed returns to South Africa with a message so many of us deeply need. Anchored Within: The Heart, Mind & Body is more than just a lecture—it’s a deeply personal journey of reconnection. It’s a space to breathe again. To rediscover your strength. To feel seen, heard, and held. To find your way back to Allah, to yourself, and to meaningful relationships—with new tools, new insight, and new clarity.
In this one transformative event, Ustadha Yasmin will gently walk us through:
- How to come home to Allah when you feel lost in fear, grief, or confusion.
- How to rediscover who you are after heartbreak, burnout, or emotional numbness.
- How to set boundaries in love and relationships, without losing your compassion.
- How to stop chasing perfection or approval, and instead live with calm, courage, and spiritual stillness.
- How to begin healing—deeply and sincerely—from the pain you’ve been carrying alone for far too long.
If your soul feels tired, if your heart aches for peace, if your inner world feels like it’s falling apart while you try to keep it all together—this event is for you. Come as you are, with your questions, your weariness, your longing. Leave with hope, understanding, and the tools to live anchored—no matter what the storm looks like outside.
What You’ll Take Away:
- A deeper, more personal connection with Allah—especially in your moments of pain or doubt.
- A renewed sense of who you are through the lens of fitrah and emotional insight.
- Tools to build relationships based on love and boundaries—with family, friends, and community.
- Clarity on how to heal from what’s hurt you and how to move forward with faith and purpose.
- A daily path to spiritual calm, emotional balance, and meaningful presence in your life.
Event Topics Include:
- Anchored in Allah – Building unshakeable trust in Allah through fear, grief, or spiritual dryness.
- Anchored in the Self – Understanding your emotional needs, your worth, and your unique path back to wholeness.

- Breaking Points & Reconnection – Finding your way back after betrayal, loss, or disconnection.

So, sister… if your soul is calling for a reset—come. If you’re searching for answers—come. If you simply want to feel less alone—come.
This isn’t just another event. It’s a safe space. A moment of healing. A return to what matters most.
