May Allah Ta’ala guide us, be with us in all conditions, and protect us more than a mother protects her baby.
May Allah Ta’ala grant the reader the best of both worlds and make the journey on this path easy and clear for you, inshaAllah. Aameen.

“I looked at my mother and felt a huge wave of love for her. I couldn’t speak, even when she returned my gaze and asked if I needed anything.”

A mother dissipates the clouds of darkness and restores peace to our hearts when we are helpless in the wilderness of life.
She is the one being who surpasses the love, care, and affection of anyone else related to us. SubhanAllah! That is why Jannah lies beneath the feet of the mother.

Allah Ta’ala has bestowed many precious gifts upon us, but a mother is one of the most unique.
Those who are blessed with this gift often fail to appreciate it, while those who are deprived of it feel the loss from the depths of their hearts.
She is the embodiment of sacrifice and unconditional love—her affection sees beyond flaws and imperfections.

No one can ever match the qualities of a mother.
From the time she fell pregnant, her concern and priority was her child.
When she gave birth, she endured sleepless days and nights attending to us.
If we were hurt, she would rush to our side, filled with panic and fear…
So much love she gave, yet we are often too ignorant to notice—until it’s too late.

We get angry at her ways, at the things she says repeatedly, without realizing that we’ve done the same things since infancy—and still, our beloved mother never reacted the way we do now.

As we grow older, we begin to forget everything she did and sacrificed for us.
We become rebellious. We complain that she nags.
We don’t even take a few moments to have a conversation with her, to ask how her day went, or if she needs anything.

We lose interest in caring for her, yet she never abandoned us or left us feeling incomplete.
We do things for her half-heartedly.
Sometimes, when we become successful, we forget her altogether—forgetting that behind all that success were her sincere du’as being

accepted. SubhanAllah.

Respecting our mothers should be a priority, because we were—and always will be—their priority.
Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said something to the effect that being disobedient to one’s parents is among the major sins, alongside associating partners with Allah and bearing false witness. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

When we were born, we were helpless and dependent on our mothers.
She was our only hope, the one who guided and nurtured us.
Now that she is aging, she may forget things more easily. She will need our assistance, love, care, affection, and attention.
Now is the time to return the favor.
She supported us all our lives and gave us her blessings—it’s time for us to make her khidmah, inshaAllah.

Remember this sinful slave in your du’as, inshaAllah.
